This isnt as good as an authentic cascade commander, especially in these well-trodden colors, and it makes cheap cascade spells more attractive than the big guns

For instance, play a one-cost spell like Opt and then Mission Briefing, and youll get to Flashback two spells

Cost reduction cards like Jhoira's Familiar, Voyager Quickwelder, and Urza, Lord Protector also synergize well with colorless cards because they can reduce generic costs to 0, making colorless cards free to cast

There is no clear-cut right and wrong decision on any of them
